stilldiscoveringdesign: Now, I know there aren’t very pretty… but Its ridiculous how much plastic we go through worldwide. If people could switch to more sustainable materials, we’d all be much better off. I completely agree, It is an obsession with plastic. I disagree that these are ugly. They aren’t the most gorgeous thing in the world don’t get me wrong! but I quite like them, they have a charm and it’s good! Maybe its a love for the concept, I don’t know if increasing our paper obsession is that good either to be honest! Certainly better than plastic but then wouldn’t be glass be better? After all they can be more hygienic and you can re-use them safely - (they say plastic you can but it releases chemicals? so the rumour goes) - for as long as you want (glass) and are completely recyclable. Then again, I don’t know enough about the process of making glass! I imagine these are a one time thing? I doubt they will screw back on. They kind of remind me of grenades.
